Edwin GuzmÁn“El chilakil”
Edwin Guzmán was born in Zapopan, Jalisco. He has always had a passion for radio, being an avid listener from a young age. As a child, he aspired to be a chef, but one birthday, he called into a radio station to request a song and ended up getting an invitation to be a guest on the radio show! It was that day that he decided that he wanted to be a DJ. A few years later, there was an opening at a local radio station, and he worked there for a year. It was after much hard work that he eventually came to join the Univision family! From being on air, to live appearances at remotes and live mixes, Edwin loves to express his radio personality and engage with the audience. He loves to incorporate social media into his work and has gained many followers due to his ability to get discussions started on social media sites. His energetic and friendly personality encourages listeners to stay tuned! Edwin most enjoys spending time with his wife Karen, and his two children.
