BLANCA GAYTAN
Blanca Gaytán, was born in San Antonio, Texas, and raised by her grandparents in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila Mexico. Since 2003 Blanca has been an integral part of the Univision Austin family. She started her Univision journey as an accountant assistant.
In 2006 also joined the News team as the weather presenter and can be seen on air Monday through Friday during Noticias 62. Most recently she was appointed to the position of Activations Lead. Along with the variety of duties she has, she is also part of the Amor 107.7 Variety program, featuring a segment every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.
Blanca is very grateful to Univision Austin, who gives her the opportunity to perform her variety of skills and learn new things, as well as further develop as a talent. Both professionally and personally, she likes to keep in touch with the community.
On weekends she can be seen live working with the community during activations. Blanca is never one to shy away from attending all community and education events. She has a passion for mentoring students, reading, visiting schools and even leading school tours through the Univision office.
